D.B.S. Program

he Doctor of Biblical Studies (D.B.S.) program consists of one year of study
beyond the masters level. Included in this program are some supplemental courses for the student, but the primary focus of the doctorate program is the thesis. This gives the student the opportunity to display his understanding of theological principles by producing a sizable dissertation on a subject. |

he student is provided with basic thesis writing rules to implement. An English
teacher scores the students' thesis, so spelling and grammar rules should be enforced. The D.B.S. thesis must be at least 35,000 words (approximately 112-140 typed pages double-spaced), and include at least 20 source references. Complete details, including a list of acceptable subject matter is supplied to the student upon enrollment. Alternate subjects are permitted with prior approval. |
